I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, but Hawai’i is my home now. Studying Journalism and Environmental Science, I am finishing both degrees at Hawaii Pacific University. My passion is the great outdoors. I love hiking, surfing and my new addiction – scuba diving. I have what I have come to call, the little mermaid complex. I can’t get enough of the sea. And yes, I want to save the world. Who wouldn’t want to help a honu or save a polar bear?
